My Dad (seen here in a family picture from Thanksgiving) is in the emergency room as I write this. He's having a CT Scan done to determine if he's had a stroke. He had a stint put in a heart valve yesterday and everything seemed to have gone well. But tonight he felt like he was having a heart attack and then the back of his head started to hurt. He had some transient vision loss and some confusion and my Mom called 911. He made it to the hospital quickly and the stroke symptoms appeared to have passed.
This happened at about 7:30 pm and I had my cell turned off, so I didn't find out until about 10:15 pm. I'm nervously writing here to pass the time while I wait for a follow up call from my sister. I live about an hour away. The rest of my family lives in the same town as my parents. Maybe I'll run up there first thing in the morning... Maybe later tonight.
Anyway, please lift up a prayer for my Dad. I would really appreciate it.
