Climbing John Carney

This is our friend John from high school. He played Danny to Melody's Sandy in Grease, their senior year high school musical. We received an e-mail from his wife today telling us that John is climbing Mt. McKinley (Denali) in Alaska on a fund-raising adventure to support a children's school in Africa. I've just added his blog to my blogroll so I could keep up with his progress. He and his wife, Leslie, have five children and live in Virginia. We saw them not too long ago at Melody's 25th high school reunion. John has previously climbed several other mountains including Mt. Rainier and Mt. Kilimanjaro.
