I was just reading Freida's blog about Emma. I felt my heart throb for my own daughter as I read it. I jumped over to this picture of my Maggie on Flickr. I am so thankful that God gave me the little girl I prayed for for so long. She is the delight of my heart. When she kissed my cheek this morning as I dropped her off at school, all my worries melted away and I was perfectly happy and content.
Thank You, Lord, for remembering me and showing me mercy.

Chip, We have pictures of Emma going off to school each school year like Maggie's. The special first day of school outfit, new lunch box, fresh school supplies.... My head turns a few times and Emma is 23 with a real job in Seattle, WA. We talk most everyday, sometimes several times a day, plus send facebook "stuff" back and forth. Now I have become a Frother as Emma puts it. Which is a combination of friend and mother. You are richly blessed.

I love hearing about you, David and your children. I was just thinking that it's like having read a great novel and being able to get regular updates on the character's progress. Is that too wierd? Oh well... God bless you all.
