We heard a great message in church today by the guy in this video. He's with LifeChurch.tv - I don't know much about his church, but it apparently has a notable presence on the net. He spoke via video as part of the One Prayer movement worldwide (oneprayer.com). His message really raised my perspective on the church as a whole.
Yesterday I blogged about politics in the USA. Today I'm grateful that my citizenship is in heaven. Tonight I couldn't care less about what the Democrats and Republicans are up to. I'm worn out on the liberal vs. conservative thing. The talking heads on the news channels and talk radio aren't saying anything worth the listening.
The Lord is moving through His church. He alone is able to bring about change we can believe in. I want to be a part, to be right in the middle of what He's doing in our day.

We started the one prayer series this week too. Our pastor spoke on his one prayer would be make us joyful. It was pretty amazing. I can't wait to see what God does through all this. It must be a first, all denominations sharing together through preaching. How cool is God!
I was on your church web site last night, Helen. I jumped over there off of your blog or John's. I saw that you were doing One Prayer, too. I think it's a great idea.
Coincidentally, I was reviewing an old video from when you were singing with Melody and I in Redemption. What a hoot! Maybe I'll upload a song to YouTube so your kids can see you dancing and singing back in the day.
How funny! We are both still singing with our worship team. Hopefully my singing has improved some since then though - the dancing I don't know about!
