I just happened to have my little digital camera in my pocket the other night when we were shopping for shoes for our children. I saw this good picture and quickly took it. I'm pleased with how it turned out. To me it is a well composed picture. You have the kind and energetic salesperson, the crying baby, and the mother who looks... I can't find the right word for the look on Melody's face. Any suggestions?
I also like that the store name is in the center of the picture and the empty stroller is underneath.
I find I'm always looking for those special moments to photograph. I missed a great one tonight. My little boy got into his sister's ketchup and chicken nuggets while we were all in other rooms. He used the ketchup like fingerpaint (there was a huge pile of ketchup on her plate). When I walked in it was all over his face and hands and arms and shirt and the table. My first thought was, "where's the camera?" My second thought, though, was, "where are the baby wipes?". Then I grabbed him and headed for the bathtub.
