Our daughter was named "A Terrific Kid" in first grade today - line leader for the week, a special seat at lunch all week with her choice of friends to sit with, a blue ribbon to wear on her shirt, free ice cream at Dairy Queen... But, best of all, a huge smile as she told her daddy about it when I was home for a late lunch this afternoon.
